Riding a Star

Yamaha Motorcycles have the favor of many women riders these days. In fact, the Yamaha V-Star 650 is one of the popular choices of female riders.

The Yamaha V-Star 650 has a seat height of 27.9 inches. Thus, a female rider will have no problem when it comes to reaching the ground with both her feet as the seat height is just about right for a woman to rest flat-footed during stops. The model has a 40 cubic inch air-cooled V twin engine which provides this motorcycle with enough power for even the demanding and tough rides. With a 4.2 gallon fuel tank at 49 miles per gallon, the rider doesn’t have to stop often just to fuel up which means longer riding time. Another model of Yamaha motorcycles women watch out for is the Yamaha V-star 950. This model is a cruiser type just like the V-Star 650 and another great Yamaha motorcycle V-Star 1100. Unlike mega cruiser motorcycles, the V-Star 950 of Yamaha is not an arm stretcher to the delight of many female riders. The motorcycle revs out nicely and is quite responsive.

Generally, the concept of Yamaha’s star designs is to offer the rider an easy to use platform for all rider sizes, no matter what their skill level is while providing the user the feel of a full sized cruiser motorcycle without sacrificing the image, attitude and comfort.
