Inexpensive Prom

One of the most memorable events in high school, not only for girls but for guys as well, is the promenade night. Many students may have anticipated this event since entering high school life. Many also, have spent a lot of money for clothes and accessories for the prom. Girls go to salon for hair and make-up. Guys may even rent cars or limousines for the said night to impress their dates or their classmates and to ensure that they can still have the opportunity to have some more fun after the promenade night.

Yet, in this tough times that the economy continue to suffer from crises and recession, the promenade night is not an exemption on the times that one should spend a little lesser than what is expected. There are things that one can do in order to spend the promenade night as less expensive as possible without sacrificing the fun that is so anticipated in that said night.

Guys can make their own corsages that they may give to their dates. This is not only less expensive than buying already made ones, but it also tend to make your corsage more special especially if your date knows you made it yourself. For the young ladies, it is advisable to check out thrift stores when shopping for gowns or dresses. Not only because gowns usually cost a lot of money but also because of the fact that wasting your money on something you may get to wear for just one night is not a wise idea.
